What to expect

You will:

  • Have fun,
  • Get an intense fitness workout
  • Learn self-defence in a supportive and friendly environment
  • Build a network of life-long friends.
  • Need no minimum fitness level, and no experience. We will help you get fit, but do not expect you to be fit before you start. Waiting until you are fit enough before starting is like waiting until your kid can read before sending them to school.

We will provide:

  • Small classes: A focus on quality and personal instruction.
  • A focus on self-defence.  Each person may choose to train in karate for different reasons:
    • fitness,
    • improving concentration skills, focus and self-discipline,
    • to learn methods for dealing with bullying,
    • to increase self-confidence,
    • the challenge of sporting competition.
      We will provide these in the context of a driving focus on self-defence.
  • An unapologetic focus on excellence.  Grades will be earned, and grades earned will be deserved.  No matter how high you set the bar, we will help you get there.
